GT Street Performer 29″

I (Magnus) got a new bike wohooo! Check these colours!

This bike is what you would call a Wheelie bike. With its big wheels and wide handlebars this bike gives a very pleasant rider experience for just cruising around the city. It is too big to be a BMX, but it is still similar in its geometry, meaning that you can still do tricks, jumps and wheelies on it. Only thing is that it is way bigger and heavier than a BMX, resulting in me having very sore upper body muscles after just 3 days of riding haha. You need to put slightly more power into lifting the bike from the ground when jumping or doing wheelies, but that just means that i will be completely ripped in a few months, so that is not too bad after all ๐Ÿ™‚ I am very pleased with the bike so far, and I am really enjoying riding on it. I bought the bike complete, so there is a few things that we will have to change. For example the original chain literally ripped apart after just half an hour of riding. Now we put a gold chain on it instead, to complete the full on coolkid look ๐Ÿ™‚

On the picture above you can see the size of the bike compared to a BMX. The BMX is also a bit smaller size since it is from our intern Brayden, but you get the point.

We made a video of assembling the bike, but due to technical issues and Brayden insisting on using his smartphone (that didn’t have enough storage space) for recording and editing, we lost some footage and you don’t get to see the full process. But whatever, it’s okay Brayden we love you anyways. Maybe we will update the video at a later point but for now this is all you get.
